Commitment to Safety
JDR Technologies has always remained committed to making safety our #1 priority. Each project includes a comprehensive safety plan focusing on our employees, customers, contractors, business partners, and visitors. These plans are evaluated and updated in accordance with national and local regulations, and designed to reduce risk as much as possible. All our employees are trained and encouraged to practice safe working behavior to ensure a safe and productive work environment which continues as scheduled and without interruption. JDR Technologies has a full range of equipment to complete any size job, with routine inspections and maintenance on all of our equipment.
Each team is equipped with state of the art, well maintained vehicles and machinery. JDR’s fleet of newer model vehicles ensures that our employees and equipment get to the job site reliably and safely. Our commitment to safety and equipment health is backed by having seven full-time mechanics on staff to prevent lost production time enabling us to finish your project on or before schedule.
Training Our Employees
We maintain an active membership in a number of organizations to help us train our employees in safe practices. These include the MWA, NWSA, NIWA, NATE STAR, and certified COMTRAIN instructors. All employees undergo a background check, DOT physical, and drug screening, and receive training in the following areas:
- OSHA 10 Hour Course (Tower Hands I, II, III)
- OSHA 30 Hour Course (Tower Leads)
- Tower Rescue & Competent Climber Program
- Telecommunications Tower Technician I and II
- RF Safety & Hazard Awareness
- MN AWAIR
- Rigging Instruction
